Joseph H.A.M. Rodenberg RM.

After having completed his studies HEAO-CE, NIMA-C and his Master Class in Marketing in Cambridge, he occupied marketing and management positions at Philips Switzerland, Numico the Netherlands, Dr.Oetker Group Germany and R.J. Reynolds Tobacco International USA. Since 1985, he has been active in consultancy first as partner at Rodenberg Consultancy Group in Baarn, consultants in strategic marketing, management and business research, and second as owner of Rodenberg Tillman & Associates. In 1992 he became Member of the Advisory Team on Strategic Information & Intelligence at UNIDO, United Nations Industrial Development Organization. Early 1996 he established his own consultancy firm Rodenberg Tillman & Associates, strategic management and business research consultants.
Throughout the last 6-8 years he has created a global connected network of 450 experts, researchers and business analysts around the globe.
 
Rodenberg has gained a broad and international experience in intelligence based strategic marketing and strategic management solutions across Europe. Rodenberg regularly

publishes articles in the Dutch and international management press on marketing & management strategies and business and competitive intelligence. He advised many national and international organizations in setting up and implementing the business and competitive intelligence capabilities. In 1993 he was registered as Register Marketer amongst a total increasing group of 100 members in 2008. Rodenberg was a Member of the Board of SCIP London from 1991 – 1997 and is chairman of SCIP Benelux since 1992. In 1995 he became Member of the International Panel of Experts of IMD in Lausanne(CH) on the topic of “The World Competitiveness of Nations“.

Joseph Rodenberg is Managing Partner of Rodenberg Tillman & Associates, located in Houten nearby Utrecht and has been in addition Senior Advisor at Arthur D. Little in Rotterdam – Brussels in 2002 - 2003. In Fall 2003 Joseph has been appointed to Professor Corporate Intelligence at the MBA Program of UBI, United Business Institutes, in Brussels Belgium and at the University of Novi Sad/Belgrade.

In the Netherlands at Erasmus University, Webster University, Netherlands Institute of Marketing, Committee of RM of NIMA, NIMA Marketing & Research Group, Industriële Groote Club Amsterdam, Chambers of Commerce in Brussels, Utrecht, Rotterdam and Perugia Italy and The National Business Intelligence Congresses in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Utrecht.
Joseph also lectures Corporate Intelligence at the MBA Program at the United Business Institutes in Brussels, Belgium and at the University of Novi Sad/Belgrade. Since 2003 he is associated with The Hague University on Risk Management.
In addition he gave numerous in-house presentations at a broad range of organizations in almost every sector of the industry in the Netherlands, Europe and beyond.

Joseph Rodenberg had publications in Competitive Intelligence Magazine, Competitive Intelligence Review, Dutch business magazines such as Management View, Elan, FEM, Tijdschrift voor Marketing, Information Professional, MarketingTribune, Food Personality, Financieele Dagblad, Onderzoek, PEM, Dutch Strategy Forum, Belgian Trends, Management Development, EuropeanCEO and many others.
In 2000 Joseph published the first book on the topic Business and Competitive Intelligence in the Dutch language with the title “Business and Competitive Intelligence, management discipline in the 21st Century “. In March 2004 Joseph published his second book “Enterprise Intelligence, creating the intelligent and alert company“. In September 2007 his third book has been published: “Competitive Intelligence and Senior Management.”.

Personal

Joseph Rodenberg was born in Groningen and is Dutch citizen. He is a specialist in strategic marketing and strategic management with a broad understanding of the dynamics in the international business world. Both in the Netherlands and Europe Joseph Rodenberg is recognized as an expert in enterprise intelligence solutions towards innovation, new technologies, evidence based strategic marketing and strategic management solutions with the ultimate aim to strengthen the competitive power of organizations.
Joseph has strong entrepreneurial and analytical skills, has an enormous drive to make things happen, is open minded, is enthusiastic and able to convince and motivate people around him and has a strong passion to get things done.
Next to the Dutch language, he is fluent in English and German.
